The drawings in the book "Transgenic Life Forms" are inspired by our recent breakthroughs in decoding nature and the work of biologist Ernst Haeckel, who over a hundred years ago recorded in detail the structure of thousands of life forms. The work references his hypotheses relating to the Phylogenetic tree, a diagram that represents the evolutionary relationships among organisms, after he discovered similarities in pattern formation between species as well as between the organic and inorganic.
