Boolean Logic
Atrium Installation at Tyndall National Institute, Cork
2015 marks the bicentenary of the birth of George Boole. His application of the principles of logic as a form of algebra underpins all modern computer science. Professor George Boole, widely regarded as the forefather of the Information Age, was the first Professor of Mathematics at University College Cork. The work is inspired by my experience as a visual artist and a scientist who worked on the development and implementation of computer technology.
