The Sum of All Parts
A solo touring exhibition promoting the collaboration of Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Mathematics (STEAM). The exhibition was shown throughout Munster, Ireland in 2016/2017, funded by Science Foundation Ireland and supported by IPIC, Tyndall National Institute, UCC, Cork County Libraries, Cork Printmakers and the National Sculpture Factory. In 2017 funding was awarded by Cork County Libraries and Arts Service to continue the tour.

The Sum of All Parts by Angela Gilmour looks at the hidden architecture within scientific instrumentation and the intricate mechanisms that record our surroundings which promote the bringing together of all parts Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Mathematics. Comprising of science-influenced art installations that consist of deconstructed instrumentation, selected from a variety of time periods, and will in particular link with physics, maths, and technology.
Works for the exhibition include installations, sculpture and silkscreen prints.
